At Skeptic Distillery, they produce our gin using processes rarely used in the industry. First, we filter our base spirit in the same manner as their vodka for exceptional smoothness and to remove impurities. Next, they soak our unique recipe of fresh ingredients and botanicals directly in the base spirit for 5 days. Last and most importantly, Skeptic cold vacuum distill the infused spirit in our one-of-a-kind, custom-built vacuum column still at below room temperature (approx. 50F); a process which preserves delicate flavors and aromas that are normally cooked out or altered under standard distillation temperatures.

The resulting gin is an award-winning, ultra-smooth, intensely flavorful yet balanced, citrusy and aromatic gin that will elevate any cocktail to new heights. The flavors are a mélange of citrus, fresh fruit, spices and botanicals. So smooth and flavourful, it can be enjoyed neat or in your favorite gin cocktail.

Recipes with Skeptic Distillery Gin

The Epiphany

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 wildflower honey syrup

Garnish

  • Grapefruit twist, for garnish

Preparation:

To make syrup, add ½ cup wildflower honey and ½ cup water to a small saucepan and warm on low heat, stirring until honey is dissolved. Allow syrup to cool and stir excess in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

To make cocktail, add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with the grapefruit twist.

The Solver

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz hibiscus-infused gin
  • 3 oz chilled high-quality tonic water (sweetened with cane sugar)

Garnish

  • Dehydrated lime wheel, for garnish

Preparation

To make cocktail, pour infused gin into highball glass over ice and stir to chill. Top with tonic water and garnish with the dehydrated lime wheel.

The Review

Ingredients 

  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 1 oz Concord grape juice
  • 0.75 oz Amontillado Sherry
Preparation
Stir all ingredients with ice to chill and strain into a small Collins glass over ice. Serve with a straw.
