Sheringham founders knew they needed to make this gin!

Alayne fell in love with Cherry Blossoms while living in Asia and Jason became intrigued with Yuzu as a professional chef. KAZU, meaning “harmony”, is the blending and respect for both East and West cultures. KI means “radiance” and is an ode to the radiant flavours of the botanicals as they dance on your palette. Cherry blossom petals and yuzu peel were imported from Japan. From Westholme Tea Farm we procured green tea leaves and flowers. Expect dynamic flavours from start to finish with the unique essence the Kazuki provides.

Made from our Vodka, with botanicals sourced locally and from Japan, including Japanese Cherry Blossoms and Green Tea + Flowers from Westholme Tea Farm in Cowichan Valley.

Recipes with Kazuki Gin

Cherry Blossom

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Sheringham Kazuki Gin
  • ½ oz. Lemon juice
  • ½ oz. Orgeat (Almond milk, sugar, orange blossom)
  • 2 drops Ms. Better Bitters – Mt. Fuji Bitters (Peach, Yuzu)
  • Topped with Chilled Silk Road Quench Tea

Garnish

Garnish with a lemon wheel.

Preparation

Combine ingredients into a Collins glass and enjoy!

Kazuki Corpse Reviver

Ingredients

  • ¾ oz. Sheringham Kazuki Gin
  • ¾ oz. Lillet Blanc
  • ¾ oz. Cointreau
  • ¾ oz. Lemon juice
  • Absinthe Rinse

Garnish

Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Preparation

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, double strain into your Small Coupe glass.

Negroni Bianco

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Sheringham Kazuki Gin
  • 1 oz. Rathjen/Ampersand Imperative Vermouth
  • 1 oz. Luxardo Bitter Bianco

Garnish

Garnish with orange oil and peel.

Preparation

Combine all ingredients. Place in mixing glass over ice and stir. Double strain into rocks glass over large ice ball.

Bee's Knees

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Sheringham Kazuki Gin
  • ¾ oz. Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz. Local honey syrup

Garnish

Garnish with a cherry blossom.

Preparation

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, double strain into your Small Coupe glass.

Classic Gin & Tonic

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz. Sheringham Kazuki Gin
  • 2 oz. Favourite tonic

Garnish

Garnish with Douglas Fir sprig.

Preparation

Fill a Rocks glass with ice, add gin and top with tonic.

Mermaid's Journey

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz. Sheringham Kazuki Gin
  • 100 mL Mermaid Tears (Babes Honey Farm Jun Elixir)

Garnish

Garnish with lemon twist.

Preparation

Build in a rocks glass with ice.
