It provides a rich, rounded whisky with notes of oak, vanilla, stone-fruit and caramel. This artisan spirit is fermented, distilled, oaked and bottled at their farm distillery in Everson, Washington.

Recipes with American Single Malt Whiskey

Traditional Manhattan

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 2 oz. American Single Malt Whiskey
  • 1 oz. sweet vermouth
  • 1 to 2 dashes bitters, such as Angostura

Garnish

Garnish with an orange peel and 1 to 2 Maraschino cherries.

Preparation

Place ice in a cocktail shaker. Add the whiskey, vermouth and bitters. Rub the orange peel around the rim of the cocktail glass. Strain the drink into the glass.

Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2 Maraschino Cherries
  • 1 Orange (make two orange wheels)
  • 4 Dashes Bitters (We love Portland Bitters Project Cacao Dark Bitters)
  • 2 oz. American Single Malt Whiskey
  • 1 Tsp. Sugar
  • 1 Splash Soda Water

Garnish

A fresh orange wheel and a few Maraschino Cherry

Preparation

In a highball glass muddle sugar, cherry, orange wheel, bitters, and finish with a splash of soda water. Remove muddled orange wheel, and add ice. Pour in the American Single Malt Whiskey and garnish with a fresh orange wheel and cherry. Enjoy!
