Featuring our signature four-grain bourbon, finished for six months in our own used barrels that previously flavored AR’s Hot Southern Honey from Richmond, Virginia. This unique bourbon has notes of fruity spice followed by a complementary honey sweetness to mellow the chili heat.

The Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Ironclad AR’s Hot Southern Honey Cask Bourbon
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz agave nectar
  • 1 heaping barspoon orange marmalade
  • 3 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
  • 1 fresh egg white (optional)

Garnish

Garnish with a cherry and lemon peel

Preparation

Add all ingredients to shaker without ice. Dry shake for 30 seconds. Add ice into shaker and shake vigorously until frost forms on outside of shaker. Double strain over ice into an old-fashioned glass. Let sit 20 seconds.

Hot Hot Toddy

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Ironclad AR’s Hot Southern Honey Cask Bourbon
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz local honey
  • 2 oz hot water

Garnish

Garnish with a lemon wheel.

Preparation

In a mug, add honey, lemon, and bourbon. Pour hot water and stir.

Honey Don't!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Ironclad AR’s Hot Southern Honey Cask Bourbon
  • 1 oz Turmeric-infused hot honey (recipe follows)
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice

Turmeric-infused Hot Honey

  • 1 cup hot honey
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp ground turmeric

Garnish

Garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel.

Preparation

Cocktail: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.

Hot Honey: Stir together all ingredients and store up to one month in an airtight container.
