FORTY CREEK UNITY

A Port wood finished 10 year old Canadian small batch blend at 43% ABV.

Definitely has the Forty Creek rye-forward wine-finished Canadian thing going on. Extremely sweet corn notes reminiscent of red licorice, over-ripe red fruits with the grapes hitting hard. I personally prefer the previous Limited yearly releases from years past. This is a good effort, but call me old-school; I like the John Hall years when Forty Creek still had something to prove.

WQO Score: 83

Forty Creek Unity was launched originally at Forty Creek’s Whisky Weekend 2018. Want a bottle of Forty Creek Unity for yourself? Check out availability at your local LCBO.
